    Born on 5.3.1933. Enrolled as Advocate in March, 1965 and practised in the District Courts, Dharamshala from 1965-66. He practised in all branches of law at the High Court of Himachal Pradesh since 1966 and also in the Supreme Court since 1981. Worked as Legal Advisor for H.P. Mineral, Industrial & development Corporation, H.P. University and Food corporation of India (H.P. Zone). Appointed as Advocate-General of Himachal Pradesh on 5.5.1983. Appointed and transferred as a permanent Judge of the Delhi High Court from 12.10.1988 Transferred to High Court of Judicature at Allahabad on 28.04.1994. Retired on 5.3.1995. Worked as Chairman, Other backward Commission from July, 1996 to December, 1996.Worked as President, H .P. State Consumer Disputes  Redressal Commission from 09.07.1996 to 05.03.2000.
